Navigating social media investigations can be complicated based on the methods in which social media evidence is obtained and used. This webinar will address the importance of obtaining relevant and social media information for use at mediation and trial, as well as practice methods for avoiding possible violation of California’s Rules of Professional Conduct, Rule 2-100, regarding communication with a represented party. The webinar will also address ways in which social media evidence should be properly captured and preserved for future use in court and methods of safeguarding the admissibility of that social media evidence.
